Think about those vital life skills you gained beyond school and family – learning to speak up, working with a team, finding your confidence, or simply understanding yourself better. These are the foundations for a lifetime of growth, often learned through immersive experiences.
But for countless girls in rural India, these crucial experiences are often out of reach. That's why we created NEEV, the first program of its kind in India designed specifically for rural girls.
Aimed at the critical learning stage of grade 5 to 7, the program uses a robust curriculum based on Panch Kosh and Zones of Growth. This experiential program uses activities and running to help girls
The 10 week 20 session NEEV program ends with girls completing a 5 kilometer group run in their cohort, joined by their family and community members.
The NEEV program takes place twice a year! The summer season ends on October 11th, International Day of the Girl Child, and the winter season ends on March 8th, International Women’s Day.
The program is run in partnership with schools! The first NEEV program took place at the Government School Likhmewala, 27 PS in Rajasthan and ended with a joyful 5K on March 8th, 2022. Since then, we have reached more than 100 schools and will reach 12 states this July! Additionally, NEEV is being run at multiple army locations and has been co-opted by the Ministry of Women & Child Development in Rajasthan under Maru Udaan.
Support the cause by doing a 5K on October 11th and March 8th, from any part of the world! Additionally, if you would like to bring this program to your school, or to a school in your area, please
